I’m really tired of something.

Im tired of self deprecating humor. The humor where people say “I’m trash” or “Im so annoying” or “haha it’s ugly just like me” or “I hate myself.” Or even"I want to die" that isn’t humor. That’s very concerning. Why is it socially acceptable to say these things and get responses like “same” or “me” or “mood”? Why the fuck are these phrases said by people not taken more seriously. It’s so hard to listen to all the time and I feel like everyone’s so pessimistic about life. Yes, alot of horrible things happen, but also good things happen as well. Good things will happen too. I guarantee, once you love yourself, life will be a hell of alot easier. It’s not easy, but with time, it is possible.

Hey, ya know what I’m kinda tired of? Im tired of people saying “oh you’re going to find The right person on day who will love you” or “oh romantic relationships are the best part of life” or “your soulmate is out there ” why can’t we as a society, move forward and stop the stupid idea that “romantic relationships are the best thing ever and if you’re not in one than you’re doing something wrong.” How about we push the new idea of self love and growth instead of the constant pressure of having a special someone. Sure it’s great to fall in love, but shouldn’t life be great without it as well? Also, you don’t need anyone to complete you. You are already completed.
